MINUTE ORDER: During the status conference held in this case, plaintiffs' counsel stated that plaintiffs were seeking relief against only the Islamic Republic of Iran even though there are multiple defendants in this case. Moreover, in20 plaintiffs' motion for default judgment, plaintiffs state that they have no objection to the appointment of a special master to help analyze and calculate any economic damages to which plaintiffs may be entitled. To aid the Court in its resolution of plaintiffs' default judgment motion, plaintiffs are hereby ORDERED to inform the Court in writing by not later than September 16, 2022 of (1) whether plaintiffs are seeking default judgment or any other relief against any defendant other than Iran and (2) the names and qualifications of two separate special masters that plaintiffs recommend should the Court decide to refer a portion of plaintiffs' claims.
