MINUTE ORDER: Before the Court is Defendants'11 Consent Motion to Stay Deadline to Respond to Complaint. Therein, Defendants ask the Court to stay their deadline to respond to Plaintiff's operative complaint pending Plaintiffs' anticipated motion to amend. In light of Plaintiffs' consent, and for good cause shown, Defendants'11 Motion is GRANTED . Defendants obligation to answer Plaintiffs' operative complaint is STAYED until further order of the Court. It is further ORDERED that Plaintiffs shall file their motion to amend their complaint on or before May 2, 2022. It is further ORDERED that the parties shall file a joint status report proposing a schedule for further proceedings on or before May 16, 2022. It is further ORDERED that if no motion to amend is filed, Defendants shall answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiffs' operative complaint on or before May 16, 2022. The Court has also noted Defendants' footnote in their 11 Motion alleging that "service has not been properly effected" because the "United States Attorneys Office for the District of Columbia has no record of such service, nor does it employ a person matching the name or description of the person allegedly served." The Court understands Defendants to nevertheless waive in the same footnote any argument of insufficient service.
