TEXT ONLY ORDER. The legal claims at issue here were originally filed in the Eastern District of Missouri. On July 16th, one of those claims--USAT Logistic's claim for indemnity and contribution against Jackson Elite Trucking--was transferred to this Court because of a contractual forum selection clause. The Court now ORDERS (1) that counsel for USAT and Jackson Elite immediately enter their appearances (if they have not already done so), and (2) to extract the sole claim transferred here from the web of claims originally filed and still pending in the E.D. Mo., USAT must file a fresh Complaint here asserting its claims and causes of action against Jackson Elite. Said Complaint must be filed by no later than September 6, 2024 and Jackson Elite must file its responsive pleading 14 days after the filing of the Complaint.
