TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed defendant Greyhound Lines, Inc.'s (Greyhound) notice of removal premised on diversity of citizenship. (ECF No.1 .) Greyhound asserts that complete diversity exists, in part, because Barbara Williams, administrator of the Estate of David Lillibridge, is domiciled in New Jersey. ( Id . p. 2.) However, Williams's state of domicile is not relevant to the diversity inquiry because "the legal representative of the estate of a decedent shall be deemed to be a citizen only of the same State as the decedent." 28 U.S.C. § 1332(c)(2). Greyhound shall file a diversity disclosure statement on the docket no later than November 22, 2024 indicating the state of domicile of the decedent. So Ordered by Judge Edward S.
