TEXT ORDER as to DEFENDANT Keith Malik entered by Judge Sue E. Myerscough on 1/22/2025: On November 19, 2024, Petitioner filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. Section 2241 (d/e 1). On November 20, 2024, the Court directed petitioner to pay the required filing fee or file a Motion for Leave to Proceed in Forma Pauperis within 30 days. On December 26, 2024, the Court dismissed this matter without prejudice given Petitioner's failure to comply with the Court's November 20, 2024 Order. On January 21, 2025, Petitioner filed a Motion for Reconsideration of the Courts December 26, 2024 Text Order. (d/e4 ). Specifically, Petitioner claims he did not receive the Court's November 2024 Text Order and was unaware of the need to pay the filing fee or file a Motion for Leave to Proceed in Forma Pauperis. Petitioner's Motion for Reconsideration (d/e4 ) is GRANTED for the reasons stated in Petitioner's Motion, especially considering his recent transfer from Pekin, Illinois to Oklahoma and his timely Notice of Change of Address.
