![]() ORDER (Denying Motions for Reconsideration) - This matter comes before the Court on pro se Plaintiff Riley Thornock's ("Plaintiff") Motion for Expedited Interlocutory Relief and Reconsideration of IFP and Injunctive Relief Denial (ECF No.5 ) and Motion for Reconsideration of Order Denying Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis (ECF No.10 ) (collectively, "Motions"). Plaintiff moves the Court to reconsider its denial of IFP status, because the undersigned's "actions have actively obstructed Plaintiff's access to justice by imposing rigid procedural barriers while historically allowing Defendant Bedford County procedural flexibility. (ECF No.5 at 4.) Plaintiff also indicates that the Trump [A]dministration['s]... mass layoffs have creat[ed] imminent uncertainty and financial distress. (ECF No.10 at 2.) As the Court explained, however, Plaintiff does not qualify for IFP status. Plaintiff presents no circumstances that justify disturbing the Court's previous finding. Accordingly, the Court hereby DENIES Plaintiff's Motions (ECF Nos.5 ,10 ). Moreover, the Court hereby DENIES WITHOUT PREJUDICE Plaintiff's various letter motions (ECF Nos.6 -9 ,13 -14 ), as Plaintiff has not paid the filing fee. If Plaintiff wishes to proceed in this Court, he must pay the filing fee no later than February 20, 2025, as previously directed. (ECF No.2 .). It is SO ORDERED. SEE ORDER FOR DETAILS. Signed by District Judge David J. Novak on 2/18/2025. (Copy of Order mailed to Plaintiff.) (ewat, ) |
