Order Setting Deadline/Hearing
Wed 02/12 10:17 AM
ORDER TO DEMONSTRATE COURT'S JURISDICTION OVER THIS ACTION. The plaintiffs' complaint, filed on February 7, 2025, appears to predicate subject-matter jurisdiction upon diversity of citizenship, 28 U.S.C. § 1332, but it fails to properly allege the citizenship of Engie Resources, LLC. Until the plaintiffs allege facts that would give rise to diversity jurisdiction, this Court is not shown to have subject-matter jurisdiction. Accordingly, by no later than March 4, 2025, the plaintiffs must file an amended complaint that alleges diversity of citizenship in conformity with 28 U.S.C. § 1332. Otherwise, this action will be dismissed without prejudice for want of subject matter jurisdiction. (Ordered by Judge James Wesley Hendrix on 2/12/2025) (amg)
