ORDER: The Court will hold an in-person preliminary injunction hearing on Wednesday, 2/19/2025 at 10:30 A.M. in Courtroom 930 . Petitioner is directed to serve the petition and any motion papers upon Respondent no later than 2/13/2025 and file proof of such service on the docket. Any opposition to the motion for preliminary injunction must be filed no later than 2/17/2025 at 5:00 P.M. Replies are not permitted. Respondent may not remove the minor child outside of the Eastern or Southern District of New York pending resolution of the preliminary injunction motion. Petitioner's counsel is directed to meet and confer with Respondent's counsel (or Respondent if Respondent elects to proceed pro se) to determine whether the parties can agree to have the child remain in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York during the pendency of this litigation. Should the parties agree to such an arrangement, the hearing on 2/19/2025 will be converted into a scheduling conference to determine an expedited schedule for discovery, trial, and decision on the Petition. The parties are directed to file a joint letter by 2/17/2025 indicating whether they have reached such an agreement. The letter should be no longer than 350 words.
