FINAL REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION re1 APPLICATION for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis filed by Noel John Paul Engel. This matter is before the Court on plaintiff pro se Noel John Paul Engels Application to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying Fees or Costs1 (IFP Application). As an initial matter, the Court notes that Mr. Engel has an open case pending against defendant Chick Fil A Inc. with a Complaint alleging claims substantially similar to those alleged in the Complaint [1-1] attached to the instant IFP Application. (See Engel v. Chick Fil A, 1:25-CV-01410-SCJ (N.D. Ga. filed Mar. 17, 2025.) Therefore, in the interests of justice and judicial economy, the undersigned RECOMMENDS that the instant IFP Application1 be DENIED AS MOOT and that the Clerk be directed to administratively close this case and docket the instant Complaint and attached documents in Case No. 1:25-CV-01410-SCJ instead.
