As an initial matter, the Court notes that Mr. Engel has an open case pending against defendant Gray Television Inc. with a Complaint alleging claims substantially similar to those alleged in the Complaint [1-1] attached to the instant IFP Application. Therefore, in the interests of justice and judicial economy, the undersigned RECOMMENDS that the instant IFP Application1 be DENIED AS MOOT and that the Clerk be directed to administratively close this case and docket the documents attached to plaintiff's duplicative Complaint in Case No. 1:25-CV-01412-SCJ instead.
