TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the notice of removal and the complaint filed in state court (ECF No.1 ). The Court directs defendant to confer with plaintiff to discuss whether the filing of an amended complaint that meets federal pleading standards will obviate a potential motion to dismiss. Additionally, if plaintiff is aware of the identities of any of the "upper-level managers" ( id. p. 13) or "John/Jane Does 1-10 and ABC Corp. 1-10)," plaintiff is directed to file an amended complaint naming those defendants. The parties are directed to file a joint letter (Joint Letter) by April 9, 2025 advising the Court of the status of their discussions. Pre-motions letters, if any, should be filed after the Court receives the Joint Letter. So Ordered by Judge Edward S. Kiel on 3/31/2025. (gn, ) |
